BY ROAD: the most convenient way to reach jim corbett is by car. the place is well connected from delhi, Lucknow, moradabaad and nainital. you can also take a direct bus to jim corbett. the busses are available at anand vihar isbt and take 6 to 8 hours to reach depending on the driver. however by car you can reach in five hours if you leave early in the morning to avoid the delhi ghaziabaad rush. the most popular route is Delhi-Ghaziabaad-Hapur-Moradabaad-Rampur-Kashipur-Ramnagar-Jim Corbett.
BY TRAIN: you can go to Jim Corbett by train also, the nearest railway station is in ramnagar ,located 38km from Jim corbett national park. otherwise you can take a train to haldwani, kashipur, kathgodam and hire a taxi from there to jim corbett. there are direct train available from delhi to Ramnagar. many resorts offer pick and drop service so depending on your resort your guide can pick you from the station also.
THE BEST TIME TO VISIT JIM CORBETT ?
The best time to visit the national park is from mid-october to june, the weather is pleasant and you can enjoy all the outdoor activities such as jungle safari, trekking, camping , and many more. the park is closed during the monsoon and even if you go to the resorts you will miss out all the fun that park offers because they are outdoor. after the monsoon the repairing starts and it reopens for tourist in mid -october.
