the first thing that comes to mind is river rafting. rishikesh is famous for river rafting and camping. they give you training the first day so that everyone enjoys river rafting. there are many camps set up where you can enjoy camping on the banks of Ganga admist the valleys of lush green mountains. although i will personally sugget no to go for rafting in monsoon because it is quite dangerous, otherwise it is safe and very exciting.
